Emily Shelton

Emily found custom curbing while working as a dental hygienist. Attention to detail, excellent communication with homeowners and a passion for giving people a new love for their home sets her apart. Emily is involved in every part of the curbing process. She does the majority of our quotes, aids homeowners in the design process, is part of the installation crew and is responsible for the follow up with homeowners to ensure no detail is overlooked.

Emily spends her free time with her husband, Brock, and 2 sons, Reid and Roman. Life is always an adventure with 2 young boys whether they are outside on the trampoline, playing football, building forts or spending a weekend in KC. Emily also loves to read a good thriller, go for a run and travel whenever she can.

Brock Shelton

Brock was the driving force behind Legacy Curbing. He manages the Business Solutions team at West Gate Bank and saw the need for a curbing company in Lincoln. Brock is a jack of all trades, so he is the one who sources equipment and supplies when they are impossible to find and fills in for whatever position necessary when the crew needs an extra set of hands. He can be found mixing concrete, cutting sod, moving sprinklers, stamping curb and anything else we can con him into.

Brock’s love outside of banking and curbing is real estate and he has had rental properties for over 20 years. He’s always on the hunt for his next project. While he enjoys wheeling and dealing, Brock’s number one passion is his family. His boys are his world and life is good as long as he is with his “crew.”

Noel Stanley

Noel is the rock of our team and the one who keeps everyone on track. He is the driver of our curb machine and does the coloring and stamping of the curb among many other things. Noel is Emily’s dad and started curbing as part time help in retirement, but somehow Emily convinced him to work with the crew full time and then some. His gift for problem solving and mechanics has been priceless when it comes to maintaining our equipment, addressing day to day issues on jobs and building custom shelving for the trailers.

Noel is best known as Papa. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Brenda for more than 40 years, has 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. He’s the first to stir up the kids and be onery, has the best lap for reading The Night Before Christmas every year and spends the little free time he has building custom wood toys for his business, Grandpa’s Workshop.

Cruz Gleason

Cruz is another jack of all trades on our team. His main roles are mixing and troweling, but he jumps in wherever he is needed. The right mix is key to a great end result and it makes everyone else’s job easy so we are grateful for Cruz’s mixing skills. His mechanical skills have been essential in maintaining our equipment from changing and adjusting belts to welding bearings and more. Cruz is always willing to jump in and make things work no matter what it takes.

Cruz is from Pierce, Nebraska and has a great background in construction as well as horticulture. His family owns a nursery and we call on his knowledge of plants often to ensure our curbing does not affect the plants we are working around. In the off season, Cruz fabricates and installs custom window well covers and details vehicles. Cruz sneaks away to Colorado as often as he can to Jeep in the mountains, fly fish and hike.

Jaxon Ferris

Jaxon is one of our mixers and we love his attention to detail no matter what we throw at him. The weather is a major factor in mixing and Jaxon is great at adapting to the wind, heat, humidity and everything in between. He is a high school athlete so most days he comes to the jobsite straight from practice and is always ready to jump in where we need him.

Jaxon is an avid hunter and fisherman, plays football, shoots trap and escapes to his family’s acreage as often as he can to ride dirt bikes and 4-wheelers.
